- New Release -

After much demand, we've teamed up with Claire at Rue Claire Lavender Farm & Artisanal Chocolate and created a Lavender Vodka! Infused with lavender from Rue Claire, this vodka has lightly floral lavender and rose notes with hints of lemongrass, cedar wood, and buttercream with a slightly spicy white peppercorn finish. We have a few cocktails in the works, ranging from light and bubbly to rich and decadent - come on in, try the vodka, and check out the impending additions to our drink menu! Bottles are available for sale in both 375mL and 750mL sizes.

Stay tuned, some artisanal chocolates featuring this vodka may also be in the works from Claire herself...!

All of us here at Myer Farm Distillers would like to send out a heartfelt THANK YOU! to everyone who came up to our Fifth Anniversary party on the 23rd. The whole afternoon was filled with wonderful music from Virgil Cain - even with a special violin performance from Master Distiller Joe! - and everyone was kept well-fed by the Lake Country Food Truck. Cocktails were wonderfully prepared by Kristin and Dakota, and the tasting room staff kept everyone entertained with tastings and stocked up on spirits for purchase.

Of course, we extend special thanks to not only those who attended but also those who joined us in spirit and all of those who have supported us over the years. It's been a wonderful five years, and we enthusiastically toast to the next five as well!

The 11th Annual Judging of American Craft Spirits has announced their results!

Cayuga Gold Barrel Gin brings home a silver medal in the Aged Gin category for the third year in a row! Adding this medal to our collection puts Cayuga Gold at the very top of our list of award-winning spirits - four awards in two years! We're also proud to announce that J. Earl Myer Cinnamon Lake has won it's first award, a bronze medal in the Specialty Spirit category! We hope for this to be the beginning of a long list of awards for Cinnamon Lake as well. We extend our thanks to the judges and to all of our customers and friends for your never-ending support!

- Other Past Awards -

The results of the 2017 American Craft Spirits Association judging are in!

We are proud to announce another three bronze medals in our collection - Cayuga Gold Barrel Aged Gin, John Myer New York Straight Bourbon - Single Barrel, and our newest addition, J. Earl Myer Honey Lake all won bronzes in their respective classes.

For the Fall 2016 issue of Whisky Advocate, we submitted four of our whiskeys for review: John Myer Four Grain (18 months aged) and our John Myer New York Straight Rye, Bourbon, and Wheat Whiskeys (all 2 years aged).

We're proud of the merits that each whiskey scored, listed below as reviewed by Jeffery Lindenmuth:

John Myer New York Straight Bourbon Single Barrel: 86 points
John Myer New York Straight Rye Whiskey: 85 points
John Myer New York Straight Wheat Whiskey: 84 points
John Myer Four Grain Whiskey: 83 points

The Whisky Advocate rating system lists scores of 80-89 as "Good to very good. Plenty of character and no identifiable flaws. Worth seeking out." We are honored to receive such feedback! View all the details, including Jeffery's tasting notes, here.
